Shine Your Light
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt 5:16
Jesus was pretty simple and direct when He spoke. We learn from Him that there is power and there is help when we do the things He shared. Too often, too many make life too complicated.
Christ in us is the hope of glory (Col 1:27)
When light shines, the darkness flees. It is that simple.
It is not about fighting the darkness. It is not about trying to do some special method, or say a certain prayer in a certain way. The fact is that darkness flees when light shines.
When we declare the Word, we shine the light.
When we reach out in love, we shine the light.
When we respond with grace, instead of reacting in anger, we shine the light.
When we serve others with sincerity of heart, we shine the light.
When we trust the Lord and don’t let fear run our lives, we shine the light.
As Believers, as followers of Christ, we make a positive difference when we shine the light.
It is as easy as that – and it is powerful.
